Padelworld and Arenal are joining forces to build 200 to 250 padel courts by the end of 2023

Alychlo announced in August 2021 to invest heavily in the construction of padel courts and founded Padelworld for this purpose. In the past months, tennis clubs in Meise, Beveren and Kerkrade (NL) have been acquired while many other investment opportunities are being analysed. In order to strengthen its ambition, Padelworld joins forces with Arenal, through a merger of the respective shares. Under the leadership of Mattias Van Holm and Tom De Sutter, Arenal has grown into a strong brand since 2015, with 4 successful branches in Bruges, Mechelen, Waregem and Grimbergen.
As of today, it has been decided that all current and future clubs will sail under the Arenal flag. Based on the current situation, Arenal will start with 8 dynamic clubs and, after renovation, almost 60 padel courts. The objective is to expand Arenal rapidly and to open additional clubs in Belgium and the Netherlands where “do fun sports and being together” is central. Mattias Van Holm (CEO Arenal) and Tom De Sutter (Development Manager Arenal) will be jointly in charge of the operational management for the whole group. They will be assisted by Alychlo for strategic projects & investments.
