Maerten family, Wout Bru and Alychlo group their activities in La Petite Merveille

Benoit Bronckart will be the new CEO from 1 September 2023

La Petite Merveille: all businesses together in one company

Alychlo has been investing in Durbuy since 2016, mainly in Horeca and Leisure. And always with an eye for the beautiful surroundings and the typically characterful features that make the Ardennes so exceptional as a location. All of which has helped Durbuy to become a wonderful attraction in the local area. And Durbuy itself is a unique place, bursting with its own character, far away from the everyday hustle and bustle.

The ambition is to continue investing fully in Durbuy. From one vision, one strategy and with one team. That is why it was decided to bring all activities under one company: La Petite Merveille.

Benoit Bronckart new CEO of La Petite Merveille

To manage all this, day-to-day management is entrusted to Benoit Bronckart. Over the years, he made a name for himself at Unilever and AB Inbev, where he was Business Unit President Central Europe. He has gained broad experience in Finance, Sales, Marketing and General Management. Benoit Bronckart was born in Liège, Commercial Engineer by education and will start on 1 September 2023.

Benoit Bronckart will report to the Board of Directors, which is chaired by Bart Maerten.

Under the leadership of our new CEO Benoit Bronckart, we want to further expand and professionalise our company to, if possible even better than in the past, offer people wonderful moments and memories in Durbuy.
