LPM Holding and LPM Events are heading towards a new future

Alychlo acquires full control of LPM Holding (known for Adventure Valley, Le Sanglier des Ardennes, and Durbuy Golf Resorts), while LPM Events (children’s camps and forest classes) comes entirely under the control of the Maerten family.
LPM Holding announces a significant change. LPM Holding and LPM Events will henceforth follow separate paths.
In this new phase, Alychlo takes over the shares of the Maerten family in LPM Holding. Wout Bru, who plays a crucial role in the growth of LPM Holding, will remain closely involved as a shareholder. Together, Alychlo and Wout Bru will continue to build the future of LPM Holding.
At the same time, the Maerten family acquires 100% of the shares in LPM Events and 100% of the shares in Durbuy Music. LPM Events, renowned in Belgium for organizing beautiful children’s camps, annually hosts approximately 20,000 children from all over the country. Here, the Maerten family acquires the business where it all began exactly 60 years ago. Durbuy Music offers music studios and writing camps in an unparalleled oasis of tranquility.
A new phase, the same passion for Durbuy
Since 2016, Wout Bru, Bart Maerten, and Marc Coucke, through the investment vehicle Alychlo, have invested together in Durbuy. Always with an eye for the environment and the typical character that makes the Ardennes so unique. This has helped Durbuy grow into a beautiful attraction in the Ardennes. Durbuy is a unique place with its own character, far from the everyday hustle and bustle.
With this strategic split, both LPM Holding and LPM Events will chart separate courses and each continue to make a unique contribution to the Durbuy region. LPM Holding will continue to focus on investments in hospitality and recreation, while LPM Events will focus on organizing children’s camps.
Both parties remain 100% united in their passion for Durbuy and their commitment to further developing the region. They want to keep putting Durbuy on the map as a leading destination.
