Entourage debuts with a mission to bolster the next generation of European SaaS founders,
pooling an early-stage investment fund with a thematic venture studio

Entourage today announced the launch of its Venture Studio and early-stage venture capital fund, raising more than $30 million from an impressive collection of accomplished software entrepreneurs.

The capital will be used to create and invest, combining a vetted approach to building new software companies with ‘Entourage Studio’ and a targeted early-stage investment strategy that will enable ‘Entourage Capital’ to back the most ambitious European SaaS founders.

Entourage was set up by Pieterjan Bouten, co-founder and former CEO of successful SaaS firm Showpad ($120 million+ in funding raised), to build and finance the next generation of B2B-focused SaaS businesses with a focus on innovative products and services that drive growth and transformation in the enterprise category.

Bouten brings to the table first-hand experience in building and scaling a successful SaaS company from scratch, and a track record in investing in 30+ leading B2B software scale-ups such as Spendesk, Silverfin (acquired by Visma), Swan, Growblocks and Bitmovin. Entourage will be exclusively operated by seasoned entrepreneurs and operators. Bouten, who will serve as General Partner, is joined by Maarten Mortier (ex-Henchman, Robovision, Showpad) and Evert Beeckman (ex-Showpad) acting as Partners for, respectively, Entourage Studio and Entourage Capital.
